'The Men Who Made us spend' broadcast July 2014, is a 3 part-series documentary for the BBC, where Jacques investigates consumer spending. Over the 3 episodes Jacques reveals how the concept of 'product life span' Brand/ company / product advertisements have an psychological impact on how the consumer responds. This then links into our ever churning consumerism.
this very interesting and intriguing documentary has opened my eyes to a lot of things as a consumer and it proves how you can be very easily be tricked into buying things in the very materialistic world we live in today!
